Dear Warriors school family:
There is nothing more important to Adair Public Schools than the safety of our students and our staff. As we navigate the 2020-21 school year, we are guided by one primary principle: protect the health of those in our care, while ensuring the school year is as productive and meaningful as possible. To accomplish this goal, we know it will
take a team effort between parents, students, staff members, and the community. This begins with everyone
following the safety protocols we have established to limit the spread of COVID-19. We appreciate your
cooperation.

Sharing appropriate information about COVID cases is another way we can help protect one another. If you have a
positive case in your household, or if a family member experiences an exposure, please talk with a medical
professional and contact your child’s school. You can count on us to keep you informed about cases in our schools
as well. While we must protect the privacy of the people involved, we know it is best to communicate transparently
with you so you can make well-informed, health-related decisions for your family.
Today, to better serve you, we have posted a COVID-19 update page on our website, which you can find by
Clicking Here to View Weekly COVID Update. It will be updated each Friday and will include – on an ongoing basis
– accurate and current information about COVID-19 cases impacting our district. It also features links to CDC
guidance that, when followed, can help keep you and your family safe and healthy.
While we believe this webpage will be helpful, it will not replace our regular communication with families and staff
members if they are directly affected by a positive COVID-19 case or exposure, including any medical advice from
county health officials we can provide.
We are grateful for the opportunity to serve you and your family. Thank you for entrusting your children to the
caring, dedicated, and exceptionally qualified teachers of this school district. We will get through this school year
together – stronger and better than ever.
